Almost 100% bamboo
There is a metal frame underneath, it’s wrapped with bamboo, rattan, and wicker. They did a fabulous job with this bike. Very good craftsmanship. It’s definitely different.
And at this price how could you go wrong? Looking at all the other ones that aren’t even in as good condition as mine, they are almost twice the price. It is well handcrafted and somebody took some serious time to make this bike. I am willing to drop it down to $400 for any serious buyer.
Two issues, there is a pedal on the left side, however, it’s not a complete pedal. Easy fix, simple fix. It has brand new tires however, at the time they were bought, we ordered knobby tires thinking it would give better traction, however because it’s a knobby tire, they don’t fit right under the fenders, which are made of bamboo as well. But it is a beautiful bicycle. If we don’t sell it for $400 our bottom dollar,then we will just keep it and pass it on.
